Circumstances have combined such that I find myself in possession of something to play around with this summer, to wit, a Mazda MX-5.

It needed a couple of bits and bobs doing to it, most of which was handily sorted out by Dad, with my brother providing assistance when applying a rotary buffer to the paintwork in a cavalier fashion. I’m pretty pleased with the results, and finally got to actually drive it last weekend. Great fun on twisty roads, and the presence of a hard top too means that I’m all set for a couple of track days at some point in the near future. Woohoo!
