Last weekend I was in the Lake District with James and RAMSOC. Saturday saw the two of us heading up Helvellyn via Swirral Edge (photo below, courtesy of James), then over Lower Man and Whiteside Bank. Saturday night was a great opportunity to catch up with people I haven’t seen for a while, with a pub tea to boot. On Sunday, we joined one of the RAMSOC walks, which took us over Skiddaw in conditions that can only be described as “blustery”! All in all, it was a very enjoyable weekend.
