I travelled to Sheffield on Wednesday night to see Against Me! at Corporation, and it was ace.

The lighting was really good – plenty of it, and a nice white – with plenty of room, and friendly security. It was my first time seeing the band live, and they didn’t disappoint. There was hardly any between-song banter; they just blasted out track after track after track, with a nice mix of older stuff and a decent helping off the new album, New Wave. The energy was there right through to the end, and the crowd kept pace throughout. And to top it all off, my train home was on time too.  :)
