I managed to get to the final round of this year’s Halo British Downhill Series at Caersws earlier today. At the 4X national champs a few weeks ago I got some reasonable results with the camera, so thought I’d take it along to Caersws too.The results of my escapades are below. I’d assumed the track would be muddy, as I drove through torrential rain on Saturday night, but when I arrived it was dry. The heavens opened about half an hour before I had to leave though, and conditions on the course were getting filthier by the second coming back down the hill. I couldn’t stay until the end, but Al Bond took the win in men’s elite, and new world champ Manon Carpenter for the women. Results are now up on Roots and Rain.
