Not-so-Great End

Written by Haydn Williams

The coldest night ever in a tent, followed by a lethargic walk-in, an abandoned climb up Cust’s Gully, and a sleep of over an hour in the services on the way home. I was on my own last weekend after my partner had to pull out through injury, which was just as well since man-flu gripped me and disrupted what could have been a lovely couple of days climbing. Still, it beats sitting in front of the TV all weekend!
